Bar top gambling

As most of you will know I really enjoy these bar top gaming machines. My favorite is the poker, but I will also dabble with the Cherry Masters from time to time. it's not about winning, but just nice to get good wins, and if i lose a hundred rand, or break even, or win, it's cool.
So last evening the Princess says she's off to the local for a pint (not really, probably more like a couple of tequilas, but that just sounded cool) with the girls from work. A Celebrate spring day thing. Cool, I said, I'll wander down to the club and see whats going on there.
So I get tere, and the usual bar flies are in the place, two of them on the machines. One playing poker (he plays so badly but does not know it) and the other punishing a Cherry Master.
So i take the last seat (at the other Cherry m/c) and order a drink. (Coke Zero). And ZAR100 in the machine please. So it turns out it was a good time to go, and play. The poker player piut all his money into the macine. The second guy pulled this screen, which paid ZAR1000,

and I got this, which paid out ZAR800. So we bought each other a round, and I took my money and fled for home!!! Nice to have some pocket money again. Pays for my next play.

More lucky spins

Been on a bit of a roll of late.
And last night, I took the Princess for Sushi, and a bit of a gamble after at the local casino. And, as I wasn't really in the mood for serious gambling, I put ZAR100.00 inot a 1c machine, messed with various bet options between ZAR1 and 5 per spin, and managed to extract ZAR1000.00 from the thing! Not bad for 30 minutes work!!!

Another win for me

Another quick visit to the club last night netted me another ZAR500 for a layout of ZAR100!












Further to the comments to my previous post on Cherry Masters, I need to clarify - I am a professional gambler, but I have to keep my day job to support it!!!!
Don't let anyone tell you they win more than they lose. It's one in 1million that might do that, by pulling a big stake from a jackpot machine / table. Even then, the odds that they will still be ahead in a few years time is minimal....
It's a mug's game, but for those of us who enjoy it, it's a small price to pay to sometimes pull in a big one!

My weekend pastime at the sports club proved profitable for a change. I got these two "jackpots", one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Just popped in for an hour or so each time, and was lucky to get the right cherry master at the right time. Wish it was always so good.Saturday's offering!Sunday's offering!

At the local pub yesterday

I didn't go in to the office, so whilst waiting for the princess to come home from work I popped in at a local pub run by a freind of mine.

While I was there, I noticed 2 guys going hammer and tongs at the two cherry master machines he's got. both must have spent at least ZAR3000 on them!

Then the shit hit the fan!

The strange thing is they are linked and share a jackpot. When it pays out, it restarts at 30000 credits (ZAR3000), and it's most unusual that both will pay out within 10 minutes of each other, never mind with the same winning screen.

Anyhow, my buddy had to pay out ZAR6500 on the one, and ZAR4500 on the other. Not a good day for him!

Because of my previous post on this subject, a friend sent me this. It was his winning hand:-

What makes this special is the following:-

This is the top screen / the best winning spin the machine has. Those of who occationaly dabble with these "Cherry Master" machines didn't believe this screen could ever come up, as it pays out the maximum win. In this case, the player has 24 credits in (@10cents per credit that's ZAR2.40) and was paid a total of ZAR1600!

Had he been playing the machine maximum credits (99 credits - ZAR9.90) he would have won ZAR3000 on the jackpot, and another ZAR3700 on the bottom win for a full screen!!t's his game!
