Nokia

Hey, anyone out there try to get assistance from Nokia by using their online "contact us" facility? You get to send them an email with your problem, and they promise to get back to you soonest?

Ok, so I go there, and complain about not being able to replicate to Lotus Notes v8.x. Never had a problem before, but now, no go.
So, first you get an automated response saying the usual stuff, "Thank you for your email....blah, blah, blah.... soonest".
Then I get an email from some clown saying that their new product can run on Windows XP, with fix pack xxxx installed, and on Windows Vista.......!

SO I reply with my usual calm, well spoken and educated style:-
"DID u even bother to read my email?!?!? I don't care about the OS it runs on - I want to know if this piece of crap will work with Lotus Notes 8.x, and if not, are you planning to include it soon????!!!!!"

And I got this back:-

WHO THE FUCK IS VALENTINE? OH, I KNOW, THAT'S THE STUPID DOOS THAT ANSWERED MY FIRST REQUEST, AND PASSED ON MY RESPONSE TO ANOTHER DESK SOMEWHERE, AND RECEIVED A RESPONSE AND SENT IT STRAIGHT BACK TO ME!!!!!

So, I fired off another note - basically telling them that they are obviously in the wrong jobs, and should be delegated to WC cleaning duties, preferably using their epansive rear ends to polish floors, and wasted craniums for polishing urinals. Basically, they should not be dealing with client queries because not only do they not even begin to understand the clients request, never mind putting together a personal response. Cut and paste from some public domain notice board is no help to me.

Ah, the more things change, the more they go backwards....
