Was my Mom's 78th birthday! Awesome. I went to collect her at her home, brought her back to our home, and we went together with the rest of the family (Princess and LuckyL) down to Silverstar casino for lunch at the Ciao Baby Cucina restaurant. She had indicated she wanted Italian food, and that's one of the best around.
We had a great lunch, followed by me driving her all the way back home again.
As usual, birthday presents for Mom are a problem. She never wants / needs anything. So, I got her some "stuff". Mostly just edible / drinkable, as that's usually what she prefers. Does not need constant dusting! Some imported fancy Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a slab of he favorite Italian cheese. A couple of Woolies quick meals. A "Cool" shopping bag. And so forth. And she was seriously chuffed with it all.
