Not all of my life is spent whining, and ranting and raving (ok, so most of it is). Herewith my advise to a fellow friend and blogger (who writes awesome stuff, and poetry as well). She was kind of out there a bit, confused and worried:-
Ok, so you woke up feeling different. You were / are. You a day older, wiser, sweeter, awake, in a new space in time. So? Work with it.
Sick? Nah, don't think so. I think you try to over analyse every "new" sensation... Not needed. Live it, embrace it. (Geez, listen to me!)
Your first novel is just that. Don't try and outguess it's success or failure. Just get it out there. As for the ending - that's never final. Hell, even Dallas brought back Bobby after 3-4 years! I see a novel as an extension of your life. And till that ends, the book lives. Your first novel is you, in time, till now. Your next would be you, in time, from now till then. The young you - the older (and wiser and successful you) and maybe even later - the ancient you?
