This is becoming a bit of a mess I think - no really - I need to get rid of something. Anyone collecting beer cans / bottles? Full and or empty? I have a pile of them - willing to swap for... oh I don't know....

More of the sameSo, as can be seen from the above, it's a really awesome bar - a massive conversation piece. needs to be sorted a bit, maybe toned down, I don't know. Still have to finish framing the coasters and get them up on display. Oh, and I am looking for a "box light", one that says "castle" or "Lion" or any bar related theme. Like those that used to be outside bottle stores and pubs.
And I have to finish sorting the stuff for the bar counter display cabinet. And then there's the wine collection that needs to sorted, and, well better stored.... geezzzz, and you all think this is fun?
Dive Dad and Fishman, the Princess sez we need to get you guys (with spouses and kids) around here before DMD moves to slaap stad! What u 2 think?

Bro...the question is not "do we want to come around and wet your bar" (which is looking fantastic, btw, and maybe you want to dump some of those cans and ties on ebay to try and make some bucks out of them), but rather "when do we find the time to come around".
We're flying to Slaapstad to look for a house this weekend coming (corporation's slow internal approval processes caused us to not go last weekend as planned).
Perhaps we should do something on the weekend of Friday 10th October? So far, I think we have nothing on and nothing planned...
It look brilliant! I am just glad I am not the one to dust all of that bottles and mugs!
DUST!?!?!?! Let me tell you - the first time anyone takes a duster to my bar stuff, it will be the last time they take a duster to anything!!!!! The dust adds character!!!

Holy sh%t! I thought Glenn had a collection addiction but you win the cake. I must admit that it does look nice the way you fixed up everything. I hope Glenn does not read your blog this week he would go bananas trading with you bottles and what not. Good work!
