yesterday saw the final race for the year for F1. With high hopes (for the British anyway) everyone expected the newcomer to win. Well, sorry for you. I called it right, and Ferrari had a first and second place win, thereby securing the manufacturers / constructors title (even though McLaren had all their points docked for cheating earlier in the year), and Kimi won the drivers championship by driving the race of his life. Hamilton didn't have a hope, and after his gearbox failed (so they say), he was never going to be in it. However, having said that, he did come back from 18th to 7th place over all, which means he is a good driver, and from next season I think he's going to be a big player, but the rookie was never going to win it this year. And now he's no longer a rookie.
Well done Ferrari, and well done Kimi.
There was much excitement in my house hold. Not that we watch every race or anything, but we knew it was down to the wire, and that always makes for a good final.
BTW- The England lost in the soccer, rugby, and F1! Wonder if they still have a darts team we can challenge?
