Lawyers and scams - And we worry about the Nigerians?
A while ago, Jayne, a fellow blogger, posted about a "debt collection" scam. I asked her to forward me - in an email, details of the company concerned. I have found their details online, and will be devising a scam of my own to give them a taste of their own medicine.
I am looking for ideas / suggestions of how to go about really giving them a headache, without crossing any legal lines.

I don't mind, but I'm not sure how you'd stand legally, because you've already provided 'intention' (by putting this post up) to 'show them up/embarass them'. If I post something on hellopeter for example, it would be regarded as a legitimate complaint, like every other posting on that site, but if I were to name them in the post I put up (on my blog), legally speaking, I could have left myself open for legal action - even though I was/am totally innocent.
If you can find a way to nail these fekkers, by all means go for it, but check things out first hon.

OK, so I wont name them here, or post any other information about them - here. BUT - I will post what I do - if and when I decide on something devious enough, but rename the players under a made up name - Maybe call them TFSNL - (The Farking Stupid N*&&#r Lawyers)!
I like the Hello Peter thing, but they one of the companies "Who do not respond", so it's useless actually...... Are they?

I ran a search on hellopeter and their name wasnt mentioned - did you find it?
I think if you can invent a scam as payback it would be friggin awesome :-)
