There was a nasty / serious event in our neighborhood yesterday, with factors which would be at home in a good book / Hollywood movie / TV drama.... And it was rather close to home. Having followed the events for at least 4 hours (a lot of stuff happens in 4 hours under certain conditions) and knowing thet there is an update due in the next few hours, with possible long term ramifications, I got the idea for a book. Crazy! But hey, if it's there in your mind, you need to give it some "air time".
So I have started to sketch an putline of the story, and will consider posting it here, in parts, if / when / as I write it. Let's see where this goes.
Involved at this stage are:-
A victim (kidnapped teen)
A ransom note
Lebs
Debt collectors / Bouncers and their "team"
Nigerians - Drug lords, and underground connections
"Hit squads"
Naturally all comments appreciated / welcome.

Sounds to me like a typically South African story - I reckon you could knock Spud off the best seller list :-)
