Update on State of the blogger

I haven't posted much of late, things have been serious hectic. On the work front it's pull out all the stops to bring in as many signings as possible. Cadence call every evening at 5.30, even if you gave an update earlier in the day. My nerves are finished. Took my client to task as well. Everyone at the clients office is pissed off with me due to the pressure I have been putting them under to try and close my last deal. it's not going to happen. The fuckhead darkie poes responsible now doesn't understand the concept of signing at a fixed rate (2008 rates) till end 2009. So next year I'll redo the quote at 2009 rates, 30% uplift, and nail his fucking arse to the wall. Do I really care if it's going to cost him an extra 10million rand?!?!? Cunt!!!!

So, what it means is I lose out on my signings number, and with that all my commission... as well as a ZAR42k challenge I was given. A lot of money. But hey, fuck it, it's only money.....

Last Friday I decided to go to the office in town on the bike. What a stupid thought. Was ok going in, but left there on the dot at 4.30pm, peak hour, and a cloud burst two blocks down the road meant I rode home in the rain, took me near 2 hours! And came within inches of being killed by rouge car drivers at least 3 times. No way I'm doing that trip again. Keep the bike for the fun rides. MAybe to Sandton office.... Less fuckwits on those back roads I use to get there and back.

Last week Wednesday I get a notification that my vacation has been cancelled by my manager! What? U gotta be kidding me....... So I contact her, and she sez it's a decision from Europe - the Vp of our division decided no leave in December, and, she says, if I disagree, I should email him. DUH!!?!?! Like I wasn't already typing once I was on the csall to her. So, he received my email, and opened it, but didn't bother to respond. Nice guy NOT!

So today, when I was in the office I called on she who is my leader, to inform her that I would be going on leave on Friday, and if I was to be dismissed because of it, I would take it up with the company on my return! Not too sure of she believed I would do it, but I thnk she knows I'm at the end of the proverbial rope, and so said I should resubmit my application, and she would approve it!! Not too sure if she's actually overding the VP, or if he mandated her to do so, but ehatever, this Friday I'm out of here for a week at the coast with the boys, Princess has to work so will only fly down the next Wednesday. Then next Friday we go to my brother for a week or so, and come home just before new years.

Damn, I can't wait. We'll be vacationing at the Mtunzini Forest Lodge (LIU), having eventually got a place there through RCI after I threatened to blow up their operation if they didn't find me some fucking place to go to before Xmas!!!!

The kids are doing ok. LuckyL got a call to attend awards evening at the school. He finished the year with an overall average of 74%! (bronze certificate) narowly missing his silver by one percent! GMan, who usually gats a call, didn't! He took it too easy this time round, what is possibly his most important exams, and dropped the ball!

The dog's still blind, still resisting having the drops put into his eyes. However, LuckyL did manage to get the drops in last night, and today the dog is able to make his way around the pool table, meaning some sight was restored. Thats the think, the effect is almost immediate, and the sooner the mutt realises that it's for his own good, the better.

The Princess is still having problems at work. They still don't have a "New owner" and so are operating in limbo. If no one buys them out, the Germans may just shut the whole operation down, As it is, their December 13th cheques / bonuses have been cancelled.....

On the home front, the biggest challenge right now is Queenie, and her TV which works, does not work, works. it so fucking old it hasn't even got AV ports, so we can't have her coupled to the Normal aerial and the DSTV aerial at the same time. And as the normal aerial was struck by lighting, she had no TV. So, I set up a spare DSTV for her, but it's too many buttons, and she can't rememebr to change the channel on the decoder as opposed to the TV, and her recorder doesn't want to, and I should just kick the crap out of her TV so she's forced to go buy a more modern, and functional one. Geeezzzz... Old people!!!!!

On the entertiainment front, Iv'e really had a bad run at the poker. Doing ok on the "cherry Masters" when I egtt a chance to play one... but the poker is really not being friendly. But that's the way the game goes I suppose...
