Today I got ambushed

At my weekly - Opportunities review meeting.

I went in with my review with my manager, and found that the office slut, and a black guy who is in charge of the project managers was present. No problem, maybe they had something to discuss / add to my stuff.

Now, some background. The office slut I have mentioned in previous posts, suffice to say I don't like her, she's fucking lazy, and does not meet the minimum requirements (as far as I am concerned) for delivery to my client! She's full of herself, and probably is all hung up cause everyone knows she's shagging the office pretty boy!
The black PM Manager - last week he tried to railroad a proposal I have already submitted to the client by trying to back fit a project manager. Now I don't have a problem using these guys, in fact they could make my job easier, but to try and retrofit one into a contract the client has seen the pricing off, isn't easy. it impacts on the price. So I had told him then that I didn't think the project was so complex so as to require a PM. Needless to say he went and cried at the office slut, who decided to take me on, in my meeting with my manager.
Big mistake!!!!!
They brought up the issue addressed above. I explained why I didn't think it was a good idea. They pointed out that the pricing was loaded, and so there would not be an uplift to the price to the client. I told them there was an allocation for an international resource in case the local gutys could not do the implementation - her guys - they could fuck it up!
She got seriously angry and then lost her temper, saying amongst other things hosw she' sick and tired of the salespeople....... And then I fucked her over!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, talk about exposing your self for abuse. I closed my laptop, raised my voice just a few bars and said, "You are sick of us salesmen? Well let me tell you how sick I am of you. I've been waiting over a month for you to give me the XXX breakdown which you promised my client 3 months ago. I've been waiting for up to 10 days for you to sign off a statement of work. I keep having to wait for you to decide to respond to emails, of which at least 10 of mine older than 30 days you have yet to open. You want to tell me you are sick of us? I am the reason you have a job!!!!!"
She then went on with some drivel, kind of apologized for the outburst, at which point I told her that we had taken a decision that very morning to allow a pm into the project. Shocked and stunned. But, I added, don't think of adding him for more than a few hours per week. I don't want him billing more hours than the guys doing the implementation. No they said, "Do you think I am stupid"? she asked. I was tempted, but said nothing.

In all this time my manager didn't comment. I'll take him on tomorrow.
I went back to my desk, and checked the pricing proposal they had sent me. The onsite implementation skills will be bust for 26 working days. They propose the PM be involved for 23!!!! Immediately sent off an email telling them, in no uncertain terms to reprice their piece, based on 4 - 6 hours a week, and not to think they can use this project to justify their existence. And I copied my manager, and his boss!

What a bunch of arseholes!!!
