I am sitting in a coffee shop in the Glen Shopping mall. Had to take the Princess's VW Kombi for it's 90,000km service, and there is no way to gat to the office from here. So, I'm working remotely. S'true! Have sent off many derogatory / defamatory emails to various employees at my company, and am getting much expected backlash from same!!!!
Have also updated some clients on the expected turnaround time for their proposals (he he, nothing like creating an expectation knowing there is no way you can do it!!!).
And finally, answered some private emails, comments on this blog, and chatted to some people on facebook. All in all, so far, a great morning. My colleague is sitting in an all day planning session. I am supposed to be there, but can't. Not that I mind, as whatever they discuss there is a) boring, b) never followed / delivered on.
Later.

Mmm busy busy man! In case you are looking for a different job I know of some big aluminum smelter being built in PE. The admin. office will be in Joburg at the Murray and Roberts eng. building. They are looking at hiring people from different backgrounds (eng. purchasing, technical, admin., quality control, IT, etc...) The project is called COEGA, the top guy is Brent Hegger and the Joburg guy to see is Mr. P. Lacaille. I am not sure how this project is going to happen with the power shedding. These giant alumimium smelters take up massive loads of electricity to run. They will probably build it first and then never use it..... They are always looking to hire smart, experienced people with a "pale complexion". Anyway let me know if you are interested (I cant find an e-mail address on your blog). My husband who as he is getting older does not deal well with frustration anymore and I ( I would rather freeze here than live in fear 24/7) are not interested in going back.
Would be interested of course. However, news is that it may be delayed for 5 - 7 years because of power shortage....
