With regards to the washing machine

I have not got a response from Game. I also posted a complaint on www.hellopeter.co.za, and they are supposed to be a company that responds, so we will wait and see.
On Saturday morning me and LuckyL decided to remove the offending machine from Queenie's flat, and take it out to the garage, from where I could strip out the motor, and dispose of the rest.
Needless to say, we dropped it going out the door, and it fell down 4 steps.....

We got it to the garage, where I proceeded to plug it in, and connect the water supply. It leaked all out of the front face where it had fallen onto.
So, we opened the back cover to get to the motor, and found that the drive belt had come off!!! (that's why it didn't work! and now we had dropped the damn thing as well!) What would have been a simple repair was now... well, lets see if we can save this situation.
So we open up the top cover, and I see that the water "loading" unit, made of a hard plastic, is cracked / chipped / all lugs snapped off. That's why and where it's leaking.
Strip it out. Get the Pratley "like steel" and do the necessary repairs. Leave it to set overnight.
Refit the water unit. Test. NO LEAKS!!! Refit the drive belt - works like a dream. However, the drive belt is not in good nick, so I've taken it with this morning and will buy a replacement on the way home.
Fit it, and then put the machine back into the flat for another bout of duty... So, either way, I didn't get good service from Game, but they did save Queenie about ZAR2000!

Hhmmm...always a good idea to open it up and check the guts of the machine before committing the bank balance...
