I spent a mountain of ZAR's at the nursery, and we now have some green in the garden, which we hope will grow to cover the offending wall.

LuckyL and I, after 2 years, have finally created the Reindeer Xmas light, which will compliment the Santa Clause on his sleigh on our balcony this Xmas. This is our best effort yet.

And some more flowers. I've seen these planted elsewhere, but they had a couple of hundred bunched together, and it gives a much better "impression". My attempt will not be so impressive. I just hope they don't die at the end of the season, and are the type of plant that multiply, otherwise I will have wasted my money. Everything I plant is firstly indigenous (although not strictly so, as we have limited options) and then evergreen, and can survive in the worst conditions (not that we have such bad conditions, just that I'm a pathetic gardener!)

Salagatle!

A good place to look for indigenous plants is at the Botanical gardens. They have quite a nice nursery.
