I have a long standing battle with my cellphone service provider, Vodacom, in fact I have a blog dedicated to it, even though I don't update it too often, I use it to vent on.

They are running a birthday special right now, for 3 days only. it's for the Nokia N95, a business phone which I really would like to have. My current contract expired on the 17th May, so I can now move to a different contract.
This morning I made my way to Vodaworld, got there early as the flyer says "While stocks last", and tried to get one of these specials. I was turned away. I have to terminate my current contract, no problem there, but I will lose my number? What about number portability? Oh, no sir, you can't port "in house!". Needless to say I told him to get fucked, at which point he said he couldn't deal with my bad language, and I left.
Now, nowhere on the flyer does it say not for upgrades. It does not say for new contracts only. It does say subject to terms and conditions available on their website, but they cannot assume I have internet access. Anyway, I looked on their website, found the special, and it says nothing about new contracts. So I again posting a complaint on my Vodacom sucks blog, and will be posting a complaint on HelloPeter.com.
Don't expect them to do anything about it, as they haven't in the past, but I get to expose them anyway!!
