I only got to the Princess at about 11am. Had a busy morning, what with having to sort out the kids and all. Gman has gone on a weekend "survivor camp" with the church youth. LuckyL was with me. Queen went home...
So the Princess was looking much better. Still in pain, but not unbearably so. Said she hadn't used the morphine pump much the night before as she felt it was making her dizzy (side effect is lowering of blood pressure)!
Anyway, they had taken the drips out, and the spinal block needle and pipes and the catheter. So she was much happier. The drain in the wound was still in place though.
She had some other visitors earlier in the day, and was also now being fed ice-cream, jelly and custard at meal times.
Her sister arrived at about 12ish, so we left.
Took LuckyL home, and then went off to do work related stuff. Turns out to be a waste of time, but more on this later.
Back at the hospital by 5pm. Princess still looking good. However, because the catheter is out, she now needs to get to the toilet, but is unable to stand yet. First time she tried, with the assistance of the nursing staff she almost blacked out. But she's going to have to get there. I told her to tell them she wants a wheelchair if she can’t walk.
Left her at about 6.15pm.
Went to collect LuckyL who had spent the afternoon with friends, and then home.
Been a long, slow, wasted day....
Salagatle!

I do so hope the Princess is feeling better. My thoughts have been with her... though I have been so crazy busy so not much blogging. Please keep us/me posted on how she is doing. Being sick is yucky! I am sending virtual flowers. @};-
