I wrote this in the comments section of a buddies blog as a response to his post. He writes like a demon - I mean - damn good, and he's been through some tough times, and now he's sharing his experiences with us, his followers (we not readers here). Some of you will know who nhe is, and others will see my comment anyway, but as it's a poem (yea, been a long time) I'm posting it.
Fighting the demons
This boy's doing it for himself.
Years of self abuse
Stuck in the dark mindless space
Known to some as - Utopia.
Feeding of his own existence
Losing all self control
Needing to be seen to suffer
Is that the driving thing?
Kicking the habits not easy
Support from all is good
This Scot's got the goodies
To kick it - to clean his act.
Not for the general population
Not for the woman of his dreams
Not even for his mother
This is just for him.

LuckyL's Aprilia
Some of you will have followed the saga with LuckyL's bike not starting and us servicing the starter, and ridiculous prices for spares locally, etc.
Well, last week I loaded the bike on a trailer and took it to Aprilia Randburg. Chatted to the mechanic and workshop foreman, told them the trouble, and said, don't replace anything, just tell me whats wrong. I'll pay the hourly rate.
They called 3 hours later to say, "You can collect the bike"!
HUH? Ok, so I drove down there, and the bike is fixed. Turns out they removed the starter and fitted a spare one theyt had there. It worked. So they stripped mine, and checked it. reset the brushes (stretched the springs to ensure proper contact), replaced it and it's fixed.
Cost me ZAR399.00 and no hassle!
Excellent service and advise from the guys. Thanx
Needless to say LuckyL is sooooo stoked!!!!!

He won it! Yup, he's officially SA poker Champ, and pocketed a cool ZAR500k!!!!!!!!
Well done Bozo!!!
