Been a long week

Following the marathon blogging over the past week or so, where I had to come to my own defense against faceless and meaningless comments, and a week where month end / quarter end / half year all coincided and we were stressed to close as many deals as possible, and a week when I was hoping to get away a day or two earlier and drive down to Richards Bay, and did, and a week when the Princess decided to get a trip to the Vic falls with her mates, and got one, I didn't have much time for this blog. However, it was a good week all round at the end.
I'm in Richards Bay with the boys. The Princess is now safely in Zambia at the Vic falls with the girls. I've just taken R500 on various tables playing Silver Sands poker.
Spent the day doing maintenance at my brothers house, and even had time to fix one of the quads so tomorrow we can go play in the quarry.
This morning, at about 8.30 am, I received a desperate call from my neighbor, to say that her neighbor had just been robbed! Seems a truck with a WHITE giy driving (please take not raven and your cronies) accompanied by a couple of black guys, turned up in our street. Tried to get access to one property and couldnt, went to another where they convinced the maid (with the aid of the white guy)that "the boss" had sent them to fix an electrical problem. She let the black guys in, whilst the white guy waited in the idling truck in the street. The tied the maid up, and blind folded her, and proceeded to carry everything apart from the heavy furniture out, onto the truck! They were gone in 45 minutes, and on their way. I called another neighbor, a friend, and asked him to get his armed response out. They have agreed to assist, will be stationed there for the next 2 days! Called Queenie, and warned her. No on is allowed in. If someone forces the security driveway gates she's to lock herself into her flat and call the police and armed response. I don't care too much if they clean out the house.
So that's sorted, for now.
When I get back I'll have to get the armed response guys contracted to my home as well. What we will try to do is get all 8 houses in the street onto the same company. That way we can have a patrol car stationed permanently in out street. First Prize! I'm sure we can arrange for it to happen.
Will also look at a magnetic lock for the driveway gates, as an added feature. Anyone know how to set it up so that with one button the maglock will release, and the gate open 5 seconds later? Then when the gate closes, the mag lock can reengage in 5 seconds of closing?
If you know, please share this information. I'm not too clued up with electronics, suffice to say i know it could be done. Oh, and anyone know where I can get a maglock cheap?

It's 10.38 pm. Have a long day ahead of me, so as soon as I've had this cup of coffee, I'm off to bed.

Furthermore, your risible attempts to normalise major defects in the society you live in, simply supports the anti conceptual mentality of your narrow worldview. You are like an alcoholic in denial. Contribute financially? Is that so? Is that why there are 10 times as many poor white in SA today than there were 5 years ago? Why day after day people are losing their homes, cars, jobs... Don't get smug because you think you are on moral high ground for still being in the country, I especially consider people who have the option to leave, but choose to stay at the risk of serious harm to their families, careless and foolish in the extreme.

Not to mention that not everyone has lost their pride that they will accept living under the K4's boot out of choice not necessity, terrorized and marginlized, all while financing that very terrorist regime who are their tormentors. Neither are some people prepared to work their guts out to carry the burden of millions of unemployed, unskilled, lazy, militant cretin ANC supporters with their hard earned white taxes.

Not to mention that they were really scared shitless of the expected back lash - and that they might have to say, Yes sir to a black boss one day, and that heaven forbid, they might even have a black neighbor. The reality is, they are hands oppers, and as far as I am concerned have no more claim on this country or it's resources.
