Cellphone blues
And as for Vodacom, well aren't they just the service provider of choice! Dumb bastards! I've been a client of theirs for 11 years, that's as long as they have been in business, and they are willing to lose me to their competitor for the sake of a difference of 2 - 3 hundred Rand. I want a Nokia 9300i, they want me to pay in for one. For what they want I can get the phone, and an installed blue tooth car kit thrown in for free. makes you wonder where their PR is?

Another day, week. We have been working on an opportunity, worth about USD4m for about 3 months, or so. Decision was imminent. Signature due by end March.
So, in this week two of our esteemed executives decide to pay the clients executive a visit. They take him for lunch, have some drinks, talk shit, and fuck the whole deal up!!!!!
One of these ignorant, stupid fucks decides to discuss outsourcing with the client. So much so that the client decided to put any decisions on ice until such time as he has had a second look see at the outsourcing option...... FUCK!!!!!
What happened to "Wait for the current deal on the table to close before you introduce another one?"
FUCK - This one would have taken me to 200% of signings target for the 1st Half year, and was worth a ton in commission.
We have a nice word for guys like this

I cannot believe that there are still emails like this one going around.

Sheldean Human
I am so depressed, disillusioned, pissed off. For the past two weeks the news has been inundated with the story of a 7 year old, blond, blue eyed little girl from Pretoria who had disappeared. 
The local community had assembled day and night to do searches. her picture was posted all over the place. her school mates all had a special day for her to highlight her plight. This morning we were informed that a suspect had eventually broken down under questioning, and taken police to the place where he had dumped her little body. If he ever makes parole, .........
Sheldean Human - RIP my dear child. I am so sorry we, as the human race, as your guardians, have let you down.

We recently forwarded numerous communiques regarding the disappearance of Sheldean Human, throughout South Africa.
Newspapers, radio and television channels carried updates on a daily basis for more than two weeks. South Africa hoped and prayed... Sadly, we were advised tonight that she had been found...her abductor confessed and led police to where he hid her badly decomposed body. South Africa is mourning tonight... As a community, it was devastating for us to have had one of our kids go missing. We supported the police in their search and cried out against this horrible thing that was happening. But for little Sheldean Human...it was too late... To demonstrate our outrage at the slaughtering of an innocent child, a decision was taken tonight by members of eBlockWatch that all its members and fellow South Africans will wear Pink shirts and jeans on Friday 9 March 2007 (this is what Sheldean wore the day she went missing). We will also gather at the court where the culprit will be appearing on this day, to shout out our frustration, calling upon our Government and communities to stand up against crime.
THUS, we invite everybody to take part in the second Pink Day on Friday, 9 March 2007. Wear a pink top and jeans, in support of and sympathy with Sheldean Human's family and to show you oppose violence against children.
