So I'm back in business. Attended an internal meeting today, which I was supposed to present at. Turns out the gummy bear who heads up the division decided to hijack it. Did a crappy job of it too. What is it with these guys that they have to present a comprehensive agenda before they do their presentation?
He basically covered the whole thing, before getting into it. Dumb arse. Probably thinks he sounds intelligent. And why do they always have to jumble things up? At the end of it, he covers everything, but in a roundabout way, which leaves everyone confused, or none the wiser!
Anyway, seems like there could be some business coming out of the division. Watch this space.
One of my buddies, also a fellow Blogger, and a consultant, was on hand, and saved the day. The gummy bears thinkpad failed on him, and so had to use the consultants machine. Just as well he was there, this idiot could never do the presentation out of his head. He wouldn't have a clue!
Princess started back at work today. And then got home, collected the kids and took them off to an evening hockey game Gman was playing in. Right now she's sitting here pooped. And has a headache to boot. Not good. She suffers from migraines, and this could turn into one. Hope not.
Thanx to the powers that be, and cost cutting, and basic shafting of employees, we now have a medical aid fund which is useless. Here we are in month 5 of the year, and the medical aid is depleted!!!! Can you believe it? That sucks. And to top it off, one of the doctors wants to sue me for not paying one of his bills. Dumbfuck PDI, no service, no pay. Which part don't you understand?
Tomorrow is stuffed. Got to get up at 5.45 am (on a Saturday morning?) to take Gman to school. They are playing hockey against one of the schools in the city, and have to leave by school bus by 6.30 am. Then the gardner (he who does not exist) arrives at 7.30, just as I have to take LuckyL to his hockey round robin at the local sports club.
Then I have to fit burglar bars to the queens apartment windows, and hang some picture frames, and then go and help with the braai (barbecue) at the sports club, and get back to feed the gardner, and then...... ahh, fuck it.
Still looking to sell the Renault Espace, and looking around for a suitable replacement. R500.00 cash to the person who finds me a buyer!!!!!
Enough for now... oh yes, got to remember to get a mothers day present for the Princess.....

To post, or not to post.....
I regularly post comments on other Bloggers pages. Sometimes serious stuff, mostly dry humour (life's too damn serious anyway).
This morning on revisiting one of my previous comments, another regular reader lambasted me because of a tongue in cheek comment I had made. People take too much out of context. Read into things what they want. Vent their personal perceptions / hang ups at other, uninvolved people. We really need to lighten up. See the funny side.
I will continue to post as I do, and comment as I do, as my comments are mostly directed at the Blogger him / her self, and mostly they do know where I am coming from, and that some things are said tongue in cheek.
Anyone who don't like what I have to say, where I say it, or why I say it..... Tough SHIT!

Please hold, your call is important to us.....
So I'm sitting here, holding on to the telephone, listening to some poor, repeated, worn out recording of what used to be a saxophone playing who knows what. Oh, now it's a trumpet. Nice.
I'm trying to get some shares I own sold. As it's all electronic today, I have to go through some help desk, ......
Ok, so I got lucky, and got through to someone with intelligence. I am no longer a share holder of any kind, and will have about R20k in the bank in 7 working days time! Well, that will make the bank manger happy. Will reduce my overdraft somewhat. But not eradicate it.
As for my credit card, well, that will have to wait a bit longer, much longer in fact!
So, back to the grindstone..... chat later.

Update on status.....
So it's nearly 6 weeks since the Princess had her op. Can't believe how fast time has gone. She's back at work from coming Friday, and not looking forward to it at all.
Past weekend we had a get together at our home for a friend who emigrated to Oz with his family 2 years ago, and who was over here visiting. Was great to see them again. Had some people from work there too, as they knew him from b4. Did a lasagne dish as opposed to the conventional braai (barbecue) as we were not sure what the weather would do. Turns out it was a nice enough day, with a small storm in the middle of it all.
Another ex colleague who emigrated to new Zealand a few months ago is back! Seems that he has a son with a hearing problem, and because of this the authorities would not give the family a "clean bill of health" so to speak. So they were forced to pack up again and leave. Seems a bit of a poor excuse as deafness is not really a major drain on the medical system, is it?
I haven't been posting for a while now because the hard drive on my laptop crashed, and it took them 10 days to get it replaced and the new one setup. Pathetic. I also now have no historical information on my laptop. Nothing, nada, niks..... Sucks!!
Later all.
